supported the Dacorum Patients Group in December
through the green token 'Community Matters' scheme
which raised £335 to promote the work of the group
through public meetings and surveys etc.

GP Led Health Centre - Known as West Herts Medical Centre
On 1 June 2009, a new GP-led health centre opened at Hemel Hempstead Hospital. It offers walk-in or pre-booked appointments from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and patients can either be registered with it or remain with their current practice and access services at the centre when required.
The Health Centre is run by Herts Urgent Care, who also provide the Out of Hours Service at Hemel and the Urgent Care Centre (together with West Herts Hospital Trust).
The centre is located in Jubilee Wing, alongside the Urgent Care Centre (former site of A&E).
